Blitz enables brands with 60 mins to Same Day Delivery; powering quick commerce experience on their own platforms. We are seeking a highly customer obsessed, highly energetic & skilled professional to join us as a Assistant City Head role in the Operations team. He will be the owner of the entire quick commerce & same-day delivery operations in Jaipur at Blitz making it convenient for brands to scale with Blitz in the entire city on the demand front as well as build operational excellence along with scaling the gigs & fleet on the supply front.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage an expansive quick commerce network, encompassing First, Middle, Last Mile logistics and Delivery Centre network to support delivery windows ranging from 60 minutes to same-day.
  • Oversee the city's P&L by implementing cost-optimization strategies and driving financial efficiency.
  • Formulate and execute strategic expansion initiatives to ensure comprehensive city-wide coverage.
  • Responsible for planning, execution & stakeholder management across all legs of first, middle & last mile for best performance outcomes. Also including plans on high demand days of festivals & national holidays.
  • Achieve operational excellence and drive six-sigma process improvements which are scalable.
  • Should have a very good problem solving skills & have very high bias to action

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in heading clusters or a city in similar companies of quick commerce.
  • Metric Focused and ability to dive deep with data
  • Proven coaching and leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
  • Decisive, confident, and experienced with influencing others
