Job Description – Learning & Development

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s Learning & Development strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify training and development needs through TNA (Training Needs Analysis), performance reviews, employee feedback, and business requirements.
• Design and execute technical, functional, behavioral, leadership, and soft-skills training programs.
• Collaborate with business leaders, HR, and functional teams to identify skill gaps and define learning priorities.
• Manage the complete training lifecycle, including planning, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
• Work with internal SMEs and external training partners to develop and deliver relevant learning programs.
• Create and maintain training calendars, learning content, assessments, and development plans.
• Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, performance improvement, and relevant L&D metrics/KPIs.
• Drive employee development, career progression, leadership development, and upskilling/reskilling initiatives.
• Manage and monitor the organization’s LMS (Learning Management System) and ensure effective utilization.
• Maintain training records, participation data, feedback, and compliance-related documentation.
• Prepare regular L&D dashboards and reports for management.
• Stay updated with emerging learning methodologies, technologies, and trends in the IT industry.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development / Corporate Training.
• Experience in the IT, Software Development, SaaS, or technology industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and competency mapping.
• Experience in designing and implementing L&D programs and learning frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of learning effectiveness and L&D metrics.
• Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in L&D, Training & Development, Instructional Design, or related areas would be an advantage.
